Heck yeah, Road Rash 2! This is one of my favorite games on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and a game that I spent a great deal of time with back in the day. It was a firm favorite I would play with my buddies and it is probably my favorite of the three Road Rash games that were released during the 16-bit era and I am very excited to talk about it today.

Racing And Fighting Across The USA

Road Rash is a motorcycle-racing video game series by Electronic Arts in which the player participates in violent, illegal street races. The series started on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and was released on various other systems over the years. The game's title is based on the slang term for the severe friction burns that can occur in a motorcycle fall where skin comes into contact with the.

The goal of the game is to be the best biker around. You do this by going around the USA and taking part in a series of illegal road races. You will be going to five different areas in Road Rash 2 which are, Hawaii, Arizona, Tennessee, Alaska, and Vermont. You have to win a race in each area and you then progress to a more challenging one. It is basic stuff by today's standards, but it is a massive amount of fun.

• Road Rash for PC does not have a cinematic singleplayer campaign with story, narration, or characters, but instead, it promotes higher difficulties of play. The players are tasked with finishing the set of five stages, after which the game switches to ever-increasing difficulty modes which increase track length and opponent aggressiveness.

Super Slick Style

I love the way that the game looks. The third game in the series went for a more “realistic” kind of style, but with Road Rash 2 they have kept it the same style as the first game. I guess, you could argue that not a great deal has changed here, but I am happy with that. The game also features a pretty badass soundtrack that is perfectly fitting for the racing action. The levels do all kind of look the same, but I will not hold that against the game as this is a game where you cannot really take your eyes of the road anyway or you will crash.

The Bike, It Is All About The Bike

When you start your game, you are given a small amount of money which you use to purchase a bike. The idea is that you make more and more money so that you can get a better bike. That is because once you win a race in each area, you have to do another set of races and the difficulty spike is pretty severe her.The racing is a lot of fun. As well as watching out for cars and going off the road, you get to fight as well. I liked this and being able to use chains and clubs is a lot of fun. You can come off your bike which like in all the other games is annoying as you can go flying a million miles way of your bike!

Biking And Fighting With Friends

What really made this a firm favorite of mine as a kid was the multiplayer. A good friend of mine and I would play the hell out of this game back in the day. The split-screen multiplayer alone makes this a better game than the original Road Rash! It runs pretty damn well too, even if you do only have a small bit of the screen to make.

I adore Road Rash 2 and going back and playing it again has just made me love it even more. It has held up very well and above all else, it is a game that is just pure fun to play. While playing it on your own is going to be a good time. If you can get a buddy to have some split-screen fun with you then you are in for a real treat.

Remember that article we did last month about Road Rash? Well, now a similar game is raising funds on kickstarter. The new game has been dubbed 'Road Redemption' and they are looking for capital so they can make the Road Rash game you've always wanted.

The original Road Rash was a motorcycle racing game that had a unique twist to it — you could use a variety of weapons to knock other riders off their bikes to increase your chance of winning. There's a lot of nostalgia around this game due to its fun factor. The new Road Redemption will include modern gameplay such advanced AI, online multiplayer, a single player mode, and a combat system that follows the laws of physics — no auto-aim here guys.
