I think the LP Installer would install a later version of the U3 Launchpad if it was not disabled by SanDisk. 1. Insert the U3 flash drive to the PC's USB port
2. Click the U3 icon on the system tray.

3. Click Settings then select U3 Launchpad Settings
4. Click Uninstall on the left panel, and then click on the Uninstall U3 Launchpad button on the right.
5. Click Next to continue.
6. You will be given an option to restore your files after removing U3. Click Yes, if you want to restore your files after removing U3 or No, if you don't want to restore your files.
7. Click Format to begin uninstall of U3.
