Of course, I imaged both 1607 systems prior to running the Creators Update and have now restored both computers to the Anniversary Update: Windows 10 Pro 1607.14393.969, in which — on both computers — there are no font issues and Corel Font Manger X8 / Bitstream Font Navigator 17 X7 operate normally. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows does not fully support Bitstream WebFont technology. When you try to print or print preview pages using Web fonts from Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows, you do not get the dynamic font in the print preview or on printout.

I am having a problem running an old version of Bitstream Font Navigator (version 4.0) on my laptop running Windows 10 Home version 10.0.18362. Whether running it from my hard drive or a thumb drive, I get the error:
I am at a bit of a loss, because the required folder exists in the directory containing fontnav.exe.Windows
The program runs successfully on my Win XP SP3 desktop, ran on my Dell laptop under Windows 7, and runs on a friends Toshiba laptop running Windows Home version 10.0.1809. I have tried running it in Safe Mode, using selective startup without Startup items and with and without system services, but always get the same error. I've tried running it under every compatibility mode going back to Win95.
The only significant difference I can think of is that my Win 10 is 64-bit, while all the others are/were 32-bit. Does anyone know whether fontnav 4 is a 16-bit program? That could account for its inability to run on my 64-bit laptop.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem, or further troubleshooting steps I can take to get it running on my laptop?
